Full Members:  Eligibility

The Board of Directors will approve applications of Greek nationals committed to bringing books and children together.  Eligible for full membership are:

1. Greek writers with at least two published books for children.
2. Greek translators with at least three published translations for children
3. Illustrators with at least two publications for children
4. Greek Children’s book critics affiliated with print or electronic media
5. Greek Librarians of children’s libraries
6. Greek Educators, social workers, publishers, booksellers, and journalists with a proven interest in promoting love of reading among children and young adults.

Associate Members

 The Board of Directors may decide to accept applicants who do not meet all the eligibility criteria as associate members.  Associate members are eligible for full membership upon completion of all the requirements. 

Honorary Members

 Honorary Membership is conferred by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors to personalities who have made outstanding contributions to The Circle of the Greek Children’s Book, and to individuals who have demonstrated superior commitment to the objectives and ideas of IBBY.
